Rua das Pedras, located close to Rio, is one of the most lively beach resorts in Brazil. It's the best resort in this area for nightlife.

The pubs, bars, discos, and restaurants stay open on weekends until at least 3 or 4 in the morning.

One of the best places to go here is a Mexican bar and disco called "Zapata". But, be warned, it gets very busy during vacations and at weekends.
